Monomer Battery Safety Test: The heating test procedure is meticulously executed as follows:
1. 1 Charge the monomer battery using the 6.1.3 method.
1.2 Place the monomer battery in the temperature chamber, adhering to a rise rate of 5ºC/Min.2.Elevate room temperature to 130ºC±2ºC, Sustain this temperature for 30Min.Cease heating. For metal cyanide nickel batteries, regulate the chamber temperature as follows:5ºC/Min.Increase from room temperature to 85ºC±2ºC, halt heating after maintaining for 2 hours, and conduct a 1-hour observation.
Battery Module Safety Test: The heating test procedure for battery modules is as follows:
1.1. 1 Charge the battery module using the 6.1.4 method.
1.1.2 For ion battery chambers, maintain a temperature rise of 5ºC/Min.Increase the temperature from room conditions to 130ºC±2ºC, sustaining this level for 30Min.Conclude by stopping the heat.For metal cyanide nickel batteries, adjust the chamber by 5ºC/
Min.3.Raise from room temperature to85ºC±2ºC. End heating after 2 hours of steady temperature, followed by a 1-hour observation.
