Safety Test of Monomer Battery:We conduct the heating test with meticulous precision, following these steps to ensure maximum safety:
1.1. The monomer battery is charged according to method 6.1.3,
1.2 Carefully place the monomer battery into the temperature chamber. For ion battery chambers, adhere to an exact heating rate of 5ºC/Minwhere the temperature progressively increases fromambient room temperature to a precise 130ºC±2ºC,maintaining this exact temperature for 30Min,then stop the heating process. In the case of metal cyanide nickel battery chambers, follow an identical rate of5ºC/Minto rise from room temperature to85ºC±2ºC, ceasing the heating process after maintaining this temperature for 2 hours, followed by a thorough 1-hour observation.
Battery Module Safety Test:The heating test is conducted with precision, following these comprehensive steps:
1.1.1. Charge the battery module battery as outlined in method 6.1.4,
1.1.2 In the ion battery temperature chamber, elevate the temperature at a regulated rate of 5ºC/Minfrom room temperature to a constant 130ºC±2ºC, maintaining this for a duration of 30Min.Subsequently, the heating process is halted.
For the metal cyanide nickel battery chamber, follow an identical temperature increment rate of 5ºC/Minrising from room temperature to85ºC±2ºC, discontinuing heating after sustaining this temperature for 2 hours and observing for an additional hour.
