Safety Test of Monomer Battery:Our heating test is carried out with meticulous precision, following each outlined step to ensure the utmost safety:
1.1. Charge the monomer battery as specified in method 6.1.3,
1.2 Insert the monomer battery into the temperature chamber. For ion battery chambers, adhere to a precise heating rate of 5ºC/Min,elevating the temperature fromroom temperature to an exact 130ºC±2ºC,maintaining this precise temperature for a full 30Min,then discontinue heating. For metal cyanide nickel battery chambers, maintain a heating rate of5ºC/Min,progressing from room temperature to85ºC±2ºC, and halt the heating process after holding this temperature for 2 hours, with a subsequent 1-hour observation period.
Battery Module Safety Test:Conduct the heating test with precision following these detailed steps:
1.1.1. Charge the battery module in accordance with method 6.1.4,
1.1.2 Within the ion battery temperature chamber, the temperature must rise at an exact controlled rate of 5ºC/Min,from room temperature to a stable 130ºC±2ºC, maintaining it for a duration of 30Min.Upon completion, discontinue heating.
For the metal cyanide nickel battery chamber, ensure a similar incremental rate of 5ºC/Min,ascending from room temperature to85ºC±2ºC, ceasing heating after sustaining this temperature for 2 hours, followed by a 1-hour observation period.
