Safety Test of Monomer Battery: The heating test is meticulously conducted following the outlined steps to ensure optimal safety:
1. 1. The monomer battery is charged in accordance with the method 6.1.3,
1.2 Place the monomer battery into the temperature chamber. For ion battery chambers, follow a precise heating rate of 5ºC/Minwhere the temperature ascends fromroom temperature to a precise 130ºC±2ºC, maintaining this temperature for 30Min,then cease heating. For metal cyanide nickel battery chambers, adhere to a rate of5ºC/Minto elevate from room temperature to 85ºC±2ºC, halting the heating process after sustaining this temperature for 2 hours, followed by a 1-hour observation period.
Battery Module Safety Test: The heating test is performed according to these detailed steps:
1.1. 1. Charge the battery module battery as per the method 6.1.4,
1.1.2 In the ion battery temperature chamber, the temperature should rise at a controlled rate of 5ºC/Minfrom room temperature to a stable 130ºC±2ºC, maintaining this for a duration of 30Min.Afterwards, heating is discontinued.
For the metal cyanide nickel battery chamber, follow a similar ascending rate of 5ºC/Minincreasing from room temperature to85ºC±2ºC, ceasing heating after maintaining this temperature for 2 hours and observing for another hour.
