1.3 The salt solution is expertly prepared with sodium oxide, guaranteeing both chemical purity and analytical accuracy, blended with distilled or deionized water to an exact concentration of (5±0.1)% (by mass score), maintaining a consistent temperature at (20±2)ºC, thereby crafting ideal conditions for testing.The critical parameter of pH value is maintained within the optimal range of 6.5 to 7.2.
1.4 The test object is initially placed within the smoke chamber, where it is engulfed by an intense salt mist exposure at temperatures ranging from 5ºC to 35ºC for 2 hours. Subsequently, the object is transferred to a wet and hot tank for an extended period of 20 to 22 hours. During this phase, the temperature is meticulously regulated at
(40±2)ºC, with relative humidity precisely maintained at (93±3)%, thus concluding one comprehensive cycle. This detailed cycle is repeated thrice, followed by testing under standard atmospheric conditions where the temperature is consistently maintained at 23ºC±2ºC,and relative humidity is stabilized between 45% and 55% before a storage period of 3 days. This entire rigorous process constitutes a complete cycle, executed four times to ensure an exhaustive assessment.
1.5 Requirements: The battery pack or system must exhibit absolute safety and reliability, with no signs of leakage, cracked shells, fire, or explosion phenomena.
