Relevant Standard Testing Requirements
Meet the standards: IEC62133-2012, UL1642, UN38.3 and 31241-2014 standards.
Drop Test
After fully charging the battery according to the test method specified in 4.5.1, let it freely fall from the drop height as shown in Table 8 onto a concrete slab. For cylindrical and button-type battery packs, drop them once on each of the two end faces and twice on the cylindrical surface, totaling four drop tests. For prismatic battery packs, drop them once on each face, totaling six tests. For non-user-replaceable batteries/battery packs, conduct the drop test with the device attached, and drop the device once on each face. After the test, continue to perform one discharge-charge cycle according to the charge-discharge method specified in 4.5.
Main Features
Power: Driven by a motor, it utilizes a ball screw for transmission.
Control Method
Controlled by a PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) with a touch screen. You can manually input the control height via the touch screen. During the test, it can display the actual test results and the corresponding test data.
Drop height grading
Contain measure | Fall behind tall linear measure |
1000mAh above | 1.0m |
1000mAh and above | 1.5m |
Note: For portable electronic products with a height of more than 1.0m, such as handheld electronic devices, the power supply capacity exceeds 1000mAh. The sample of its falling height should be 1.5m. |
