Relevant standard test requirements
1. Adherence to standards: IEC.62133-2012,UL.1642,United Nations,specifically the test methods outlined in standards 38.3 and 31241-2014, applicable after full charge compression: Position the battery following protocol 4.5. 1 Place the battery strategically in two orientations.
2. Within the plane, apply perpendicular pressure against the pole plate direction, exerting precisely 13 KN force between two flat plates,KN±0.2KNto achieve the designated squeezing force, halting the extrusion test once peak pressure is attained. During the test, ensure the battery's integrity.
3. Prohibition of external short circuits. For cylindrical batteries, ensure alignment with the longitudinal axis parallel to the plates. .For square and soft-packed batteries,conduct extrusion tests primarily on the wider surface, with buckle batteries tested top and bottom. Execute the extrusion test, ensuring the sides remain parallel to the plates.
