Relevant Standard Test Requirements
1. Safety Test of Monomer Battery: The extrusion test is methodically conducted with the following procedure: 1. .1 The monomer battery is charged following the 6.1.3 method and subjected to tests under the ensuing conditions:
A) Squeezing Direction: Apply pressure perpendicular to the battery pole plate direction (refer to Figure 1).
B) Extruded Plate Form: A semicircular body with a radius of 75mmensures optimal contact, and the length (L) of this semi-cylinder surpasses the battery dimensions being squeezed.
C) Squeezing Speed: (5±1) mm/s
D) Degree of Squeezing: Achieve a voltage drop to 0V, a deformation reaching 30%, or an extrusion force of up to 200kN.Back StopCease squeezing; observe for 1 hour for any changes.
2. Battery Module Safety Test: The extrusion test is executed step by step as follows: 1. .1 Charge the monomer battery in accordance with the 6.1.4 method, and proceed with testing under these conditions:
A) Ensure the direction most prone to squeezing during vehicle layout is consistent.In cases where the easiest squeezing direction is indeterminate, apply pressure perpendicular to the monomer battery. Direct pressure along the alignment direction (as depicted in Figure 3)
B) Extruded Plate Form: Feature a semicircular body with a 75mm radius, forming a semi-cylinder.Ensure the body length surpasses the battery's size but remains under 1m.
C) Squeezing Speed: (5±1) mm/s
D) Degree of Squeezing: Achieve a 30% deformation of the battery module, or an extrusion force equating to1000 times the battery module's weight or the highest value listed in Table 2. Maintain this for 10 minutes and observe for 1 hour.
