1.1 The test object is a battery pack or system.
1.2 Refer to GB/T2423.18 severe level (5) carry out four experimental cycles.
1.3 The salt solution is meticulously crafted using sodium oxide (chemically pure, analytically pure) mixed with distilled or deionized water, achieving a precise concentration of (5±0.1)% (mass score), (20±2)ºC,ensuring the PH value is precisely maintained between 6.5 and 7.2.
1.4 Carefully place the test object inside the smoke chamber, where it is subjected to salt mist at controlled temperatures ranging from 5ºC to 35ºC for a duration of 2 hours. Following the spraying phase, transfer the test object to the wet and hot tank for a period of 20 to 22 hours, maintaining the temperature at
(40±2)ºC with a relative humidity of (93±3)%, thus completing one test cycle. This procedure is repeated three times, followed by testing under standard atmospheric conditions (temperature at 23ºC±2ºC,with relative humidity maintained at 45%~55%) and stored for 3 days, forming one comprehensive cycle that is reiterated four times.
1.5 Performance Requirements: The battery pack or system must remain free from any leakage, cracked casing, or phenomena of fire andexplosion.
