Relevant Standard Test Requirements
1. 1 The primary test object is the battery pack or system.
1.2 In this rigorous test, the dimensions of the gasoline-filled flat plate exceed the horizontal ruler of the test object by 20cm, with a plate height of no more than 8cm above the gasoline's surface. The crucial distance between the gasoline liquid level and the test object is precisely set at 50cm. Alternatively, assess the ground height of the object when the vehicle is idle., or with mutual consent, water may be added to the bottom of the flat plate.
1.3 Ig-nite the gasoline at a safe distance of at least 3 meters from the equipment under test. After a 60-second preheating phase, position the oil tray beneath the equipment under test., if the oil plate is excessively large for manual relocation, an alternative approach is available: Employing the method of moving the bracket of the sample box under test.
1.4 The test subjects are directly exposed to the rigorous flame for a period of 70 seconds.
1.5 Secure the cover plate over the oil pan, allowing the test subject to undergo testing for 60 seconds in this state, or as determined through mutual agreement.Follow up with continuous direct flame exposure for an additional 60 seconds.
1.6 Remove the oil pan and conduct observation for a comprehensive duration of 2 hours.
1.7 Requirements: The battery pack or system must not explode. If flames occur, they should extinguish within 2 minutes after the removal of the fire source.
