1. Safety Test for Monomer Battery:The extrusion test is carefully executed following these detailed steps:1..1 The monomer battery is charged using the 6.1.3 method and is subjected to rigorous testing under the following conditions:
A) Squeezing Direction:Pressure is applied perpendicularly to the orientation of the battery pole plate (refer to Figure 1 for guidance).
B) Extruded Plate Form:Featuring a radius of 75mm,the semicircular body,ensures that the length (L) of the semi-cylinder exceeds the dimensions of the squeezed battery.
C) Squeezing Speed:: (5±1)mm/s
D) Degree of Squeezing:Achieved when the voltage drops to 0V, the deformation reaches 30%, or the extrusion force attains a formidable 200kN.Back Stop:Cease squeezing; maintain vigilant observation for a period of 1 hour.
2. Battery Module Safety Test: The extrusion test is performed according to these procedures:1.1 The monomer battery undergoes charging via the 6.1.4 method and is subject to comprehensive testing under the ensuing conditions:
A) The direction most conducive to battery module squeezing aligns with the overall vehicle layout.If the most conducive squeezing direction is indeterminable, it defaults to a perpendicular orientation relative to the monomer battery.Pressure is then applied in the arrangement direction (as illustrated in Figure 3).
B) Extruded Plate Form: A semicircular body with a 75mm radius, hosting a semi-cylinder.The length of the body surpasses the dimensions of the squeezed battery yet remains under 1m.
C) Squeezing Speed:: (5±1) mm/s
D) Squeezing Degree: The battery module deformation reaches 30%, or the extrusion force is equivalent to 1000 times the battery module's weight or the greater value from Table 2, maintaining this force for 10 minutes, followed by an hour of observation.1000 times the weight of the battery module and the larger value of the values listed in Table 2, sustain for 10min and observe for 1h
