1.1 The test object is a battery pack or system.
1.2 Refer to GB/T2423.18 Severe Level (5) execute four experimental cycles.
1.3 The salt solution is meticulously crafted with sodium oxide (chemically pure, analytically pure) dissolved in distilled or deionized water, achieving a precise concentration of (5±0.1)% (mass score), (20±2)ºC,with the PH value precisely measured between 6.5 and 7.2, ensuring optimal testing conditions.
1.4 The test object is placed within the smoke chamber, where it is exposed to a salt mist at temperatures ranging from 5ºC to 35ºC for 2 hours. After this, the test object is transferred to the wet and hot tank for 20 to 22 hours, where the temperature is
(40±2)ºC with a relative humidity of (93±3)%, completing one full cycle. This rigorous process is repeated three times, followed by testing under standard atmospheric conditions (temperature at 23ºC±2ºC,with relative humidity maintained at 45%~55%) and stored for 3 days, forming one complete cycle to be reiterated four times.
1.5 Requirements: The battery pack or system must show no leakage, cracked casing, or any fire andexplosion phenomena.
