Safety Test of Monomer Battery: The heating test is executed following these detailed steps:
1. 1.1 The monomer battery is charged in accordance with method 6.1.3.
1.2 Place the monomer battery inside the temperature box. For an ion battery temperature box, follow the rate of 5ºC/MinThe room temperature increases continuously byUntil reaching 130ºC±2ºC, This temperature is then consistently maintained for 30MinUpon completion, heating is ceased. For a metal cyanide nickel battery temperature box, adhere to a rate of 5ºC/MinThe rate of increase continues from room temperature to 85ºC±2ºC, where heating is stopped after maintaining this temperature for a duration of 2 hours, followed by an observation period of 1 hour.
Battery Module Safety Test: The heating test is conducted as per the following methodical steps:
1.1. 1.2 The battery module is charged following method 6.1.4.
1.1.2 In the ion battery temperature box, observe a rate increase of 5ºC/MinFrom room temperature to 130ºC±2ºC, with the temperature being consistently held for 30MinBefore ceasing the heating process.For a metal cyanide nickel battery temperature box, continue with a rate increase of 5ºC/
MinThe temperature elevates from the standard room temperature to85ºC±2ºC, ceasing the heating after holding this temperature for 2 hours, followed by an hour of observation.
