Battery electrical safety test:Position the battery according to section 4.5.1 Once the battery is fully charged using the designated test method, stabilize it at a precise temperature of 20ºC±5ºC.As the battery's temperature stabilizes to 55ºC±5ºC in a controlled setting,maintain this for an additional 30minutes,then securely connect the positive and negative terminals using a reliable wire,ensuring that all external resistances are precisely set at 80mΩ±20mΩ. Carefully monitor any temperature changes during the entire testing process,The test reaches its conclusion when one of the following conditions is satisfied.
A)The battery's temperature decreases to 20% below its maximum level;
B) The short circuit duration extends to a full 24 hours;
The battery must not ig-nite or explode.The peak temperature must remain below 150ºC.
Note:The resistivity and temperature coefficient of the wire should be less than 5*10-3ºC-1, specifically for materials like copper wire.
Ensure the temperature of the battery or battery pack under examination stabilizes, allowing the shell temperature to achieve 55±2ºC. Then, maintain the battery or battery pack at 55±2ºC with total external resistance kept below0.1 ohm. This short-circuit condition must be maintained at the specific temperature of the battery or battery pack shell.Continue to meticulously observe for a minimum of 1 hour after returning to 55±2ºC. The battery or battery pack must undergo thorough reassessment.The comprehensive experiment spans a total of 6 hours.
