1.1 The test object is a battery pack or system.
1.2 Refer to GB/T2423.18 severe level (5) carry out four experimental cycles.
1.3 The salt solution is meticulously prepared with sodium oxide (chemically pure, analytically pure), intricately blended with distilled or deionized water to achieve a precise concentration of (5±0.1)% (mass score), (20±2)ºC,and the PH value carefully measured between 6.5 and 7.2, ensuring optimal testing conditions are met.
1.4 The test object is meticulously placed inside the smoke chamber, where it is subjected to a salt mist at temperatures ranging from 5ºC to 35ºC for a period of 2 hours. Following the spraying, the test object is then transferred to the wet and hot tank for 20 to 22 hours, where the temperature is
(40±2)ºC with a relative humidity of (93±3)%, completing one full cycle. This meticulous process is repeated three times, after which testing under standard atmospheric conditions (temperature at 23ºC±2ºC,with relative humidity maintained at 45%~55%) ensues and the object is stored for 3 days, forming one complete cycle that is repeated four times to ensure comprehensive assessment.
1.5 Requirements: The battery pack or system must exhibit no leakage, cracked casing, or any fire andexplosion phenomena, ensuring its integrity and safety.
