1.3 The salt solution, meticulously formulated with sodium oxide in its chemically pure, analytically pure form, combined with distilled or deionized water, maintains a concentration of (5±0.1)% (by mass score), (20±2)ºC, ensuring prime conditions for testing.The PH value, an essential parameter, is consistently maintained between 6.5 and 7.2.
1.4 Place the test object into the smoke box for a rigorous salt mist exposure at 5ºC~35ºC for 2 hours. Following this, transfer the object to the wet and hot tank for an extended duration of 20h-22h. The temperature is meticulously regulated at
(40±2)ºC, with the relative humidity maintained at (93±3)%, completing one full cycle. This precise cycle is repeated three times, followed by testing under standard atmospheric conditions where the temperature is 23ºC±2ºC,and the relative humidity is stabilized between 45%~55%) before storing for 3 days. This thorough process completes a full cycle, which is reiterated four times for a comprehensive evaluation.
1.5 Requirements: The battery pack or system must demonstrate no leakage, cracked shell, fire, or explosion phenomena to ensure maximum safety and reliability.
