1.1. Charge the monomer battery in precise accordance with method 6.1.3,
1.2 Insert the monomer battery into the temperature chamber, adhering to a specific ion battery heating rate of 5ºC/Min,where the temperature is raised fromambient temperature to a precise 130ºC±2ºC,maintaining this temperature for an exact 30Min,then cease the heating process. For metal cyanide nickel battery chambers, implement a heating rate of5ºC/Minto transition from ambient temperature to85ºC±2ºC, halting heating after sustaining this temperature for 2 hours, followed by a crucial 1-hour monitoring period.
Battery Module Safety Test:Execute the heating test with precision by adhering to these comprehensive steps:
1.1.1. Charge the battery module according to method 6.1.4,
1.1.2 In the ion battery temperature chamber, elevate the temperature at a controlled rate of 5ºC/Min,progressing from ambient temperature to a stable 130ºC±2ºC, maintaining this level for a precise 30Min.Then, discontinue heating.
For the metal cyanide nickel battery chamber, employ a similar ascending rate of 5ºC/Min,advancing from ambient temperature to85ºC±2ºC, concluding the heating process after maintaining this temperature for 2 hours and conducting an additional 1-hour monitoring period.
