1.1 The test object is a battery pack or system.

1.4 Place the test object into the smoke box and administer salt mist at temperatures between 5ºC and 35ºC for 2 hours. Post-spray, transition the test object to the wet and hot tank for an additional 20 to 22 hours, maintaining a temperature of
(40±2)ºC with relative humidity at (93±3)%, completing one cycle. Repeat this cycle thrice, subsequently testing under standard atmospheric conditions (temperature is 23ºC±2ºC,relative humidity spans 45% to 55%) and store for 3 days, completing a full cycle, which is reiterated four times.
1.5 Requirements: Ensure no leakage from the battery pack or system, avoid cracked casings, and prevent fire or explosion occurrences.
