Relevant standard test requirements
1. 1. The test object is the battery pack or system
1.2 During the test, the gasoline-filled flat plate must exceed the test object's horizontal dimension by 20cm, maintaining a height no greater than 8cm above the gasoline's surface. The test object should be positioned 50cm above the gasoline liquid level for optimal safety. Alternatively, measure the test object's ground clearance when the vehicle is stationary., or, as agreed upon by both parties, water may be introduced to the bottom of the flat plate.
1.3 Ensure to ig-nite the gasoline at a minimum distance of 3m from the equipment under evaluation. After a 60-second preheating period, strategically place the oil tray beneath the equipment being tested., if the oil plate's size prohibits movement, resort to Positioning the bracket of the sample box under the test.
1.4 The test subjects endure direct flame exposure for 70 seconds.
1.5 Secure the oil pan with a cover, maintaining the test subject in this condition for 60 seconds or adjust the duration based on mutual agreement.Proceed with direct flame exposure for an additional 60 seconds.
1.6 Upon removal of the oil pan, conduct an observation period lasting 2 hours.
1.7 Requirements: The battery pack or system must not explode. In case of any flames, they should be fully extinguished within 2 minutes post-removal of the fire source.
