Battery electrical safety test: Position the battery as specified in 4.5. 1 Once fully charged by the prescribed test method, place it in an environment of 20ºC±5ºCAfter the battery reaches a temperature of 55ºC±5ºC, Hold for an additional 30minutes, then connect the battery's positive and negative terminals using a wire, Ensuring all external resistances are 80mΩ±20mΩ. Monitor the battery temperature changes during the test, Cease testing when either of these conditions is met:
A)The battery temperature decreases to 20% less than its peak value.
B) The short circuit duration reaches 24 hours.
The battery must not ig-nite or explode. Peak temperature must remain below 150ºC.
Note: The wire's resistivity and temperature coefficient must be under 5* 10-3ºC-1, such as that of copper wire, etc.
Stabilize the battery or battery pack temperature so its shell temperature achieves 55±2ºC, then maintain the battery or pack at 55±2ºC. Ensure total external resistance remains under 0. 1 ohm under short-circuit conditions, matched to the temperature of the battery or pack shell.Continue for a minimum of 1 hour after stabilizing at 55±2ºC, observing the battery or battery pack once more. The experiment completes after 6 full hours.
