C) Squeezing Speed: (5±1)mm per second (mm/s).
D) Degree of Squeezing:Achieve a voltage drop to 0V or deformation reaching 30%, or apply an extrusion force up to 200kN.Back Stop:Halt squeezing immediately, then initiate a 1-hour observation period to ensure strict compliance.
2. Battery Module Safety Test Procedure: The extrusion test is meticulously executed according to these structured steps:1.1 Charge the monomer battery as per the 6.1.4 method and conduct tests under the following specified conditions:
A) Select the direction in which the battery module is most vulnerable to squeezing within the complete vehicle layout.If the optimal squeezing direction remains unclear, apply pressure perpendicular to the monomer battery for accurate outcomes.Pressure is systematically applied in the layout direction (see Figure 3 for illustration)
B) Form of the Extruded Plate: A semicircular body with a 75mm radius and a semi-cylinder design.The extruded body length extends beyond the squeezed battery dimensions but is restricted to a maximum of 1m.
C) Squeezing Speed:: (5±1) mm/s
D) Degree of Squeezing: Achieve up to 30% deformation of the battery module or apply a force equivalent to storagethat is 1000 times the weight of the battery module, referencing the highest value in Table 2, hold for 10 minutes and observe for 1 hour.
