A) Squeezing Direction:Apply pressure perpendicular to the battery pole plate's direction (see Figure 1 for additional elucidation).
B) Form of the Extruded Plate:A radius of 75mmThe extruded body boasts a semicircular configuration,accompanied by a semi-cylinder length (L) that surpasses the squeezed battery dimensions for optimal accuracy.
C) Squeezing Speed: (5±1)mm per second (mm/s).
D) Degree of Squeezing:Ensure a voltage drop to 0V or deformation reaching 30%, or sustain an extrusion force of up to 200kN.Back Stop:Immediately cease squeezing; initiate a 1-hour observation period to confirm compliance.
2. Battery Module Safety Test Procedure: The extrusion test is meticulously executed in accordance with these structured steps:1.1 Charge the monomer battery pursuant to the 6.1.4 method and carry out tests under the specified conditions:
A) Adopt the direction most vulnerable to squeezing within the vehicle's complete layout.If the ideal squeezing direction is indeterminable, apply pressure perpendicular to the monomer battery for precise results.Pressure is methodically applied in the designated arrangement direction (see Figure 3 for illustration)
B) Form of the Extruded Plate: A semicircular body with a 75mm radius and a semi-cylinder design.The extruded body length exceeds the squeezed battery's dimensions but is limited to a maximum of 1m.
C) Squeezing Speed:: (5±1) mm/s
D) Degree of Squeezing: Attain battery module deformation up to 30% or apply a force equivalent to the storageweight that is 1000 times that of the battery module, considering the maximum value outlined in Table 2, hold for 10 minutes, and observe for 1 hour.
