Battery electrical safety test:Place the battery in accordance with section 4.5.1. Once fully charged using the specified test method, set it at a stable 20ºC±5ºC.After allowing the battery's temperature to rise to 55ºC±5ºC,Sustain this temperature for an additional 30minutes,then seamlessly connect the positive and negative terminals of the battery with a wire,ensuring complete precision with all external resistances maintained at 80mΩ±20mΩ. Diligently monitor the battery temperature variations throughout the test,The test concludes under either of the following conditions.
A)When the battery temperature reduces to 20% below its peak;
B) When the short-circuit duration extends to 24 hours;
Ensuring the battery does not ig-nite or explode.The maximum allowable temperature must not exceed 150ºC.
Note:The resistivity and temperature coefficient of the wire should not exceed 5 ×10-3ºC-1, akin to those in copper wire.
The temperature of the battery or battery pack under testing should stabilize, allowing the outer shell to reach 55±2ºC, and subsequently maintain the battery or battery pack at this temperature of 55±2ºC. All total external resistance during the process should remain below0.1 ohm under short-circuit conditions. This condition should prevail at the shell's temperature of the battery or battery pack.Sustain for a minimum of 1 hour after returning to 55±2ºC. The battery or battery pack must undergo thorough re-evaluation.The entire experimental procedure spans a total of 6 hours.
