Battery electrical safety test: Place the battery in accordance with 4.5. 1 Once fully charged using the specified test method, position it at 20ºC±5ºCAfter the battery's temperature rises to 55ºC±5ºC, Maintain it for an additional 30Minutes, then connect the positive and negative terminals of the battery with a wire, Ensuring that all external resistances are 80mΩ±20mΩ. Monitor the battery temperature fluctuations throughout the test, The test concludes when either of the following conditions is met.
A).The battery temperature reduces to 20% below its peak;
B). The short-circuit duration reaches 24 hours;
The battery must not ig-nite or explode. The maximum temperature must not surpass 150ºC.
Note: The resistivity and temperature coefficient of the wire should not exceed 5* 10-3ºC-1, such as those found in copper wire.
The temperature of the battery or battery pack under examination should stabilize, allowing its outer shell to reach 55±2ºC, and then maintain the battery or battery pack at 55±2.ºC. The total external resistance during the process should be below 0. 1 ohm under short-circuit conditions. This scenario should exist at the shell's temperature of the battery or battery pack.Sustain for no less than 1 hour after reattaining 55±2ºC. The battery or battery pack must undergo re-evaluation. The entire experiment spans 6 hours.
