Safety Test for Single Batteries: The Short - circuit Test shall be carried out in accordance with the following steps:
1.1 Charge the single battery according to the method specified in 6.1.3. Then, short - circuit the positive and negative electrodes of the single battery externally for 10 minutes. The external circuit resistance should be less than mΩ. Observe for 1 hour for the safety test of the battery module.
Safety Test for Battery Modules:
1.1.1 Charge the battery module according to the method specified in 6.1.4. Then, short - circuit the positive and negative electrodes of the battery module externally for 10 minutes. The external circuit resistance should be less than mΩ. Observe for 1 hour.
